Monsters University - liked it. Not loved. No spoilers -

No dead parents, so props to Pixar for that. Loved the fact that they had a field trip that inspired Mike Wazoski to his future career. The cameos from the Monster's Inc. were pitch perfect and it just seemed about 20 minutes too long.

Spent the rest of the day baking for the an American Cancer Bowl-a-thon. Unicorn poop and frosted sugar cookie bowling balls. 

I feel like we should be doing more, and next week we'll be driving up and back into Oakland for camp. Wish me luck.

I'm back.. here we go..

Off to a roaring start to Summer, our good friends are down with the flu and I have a wee one who had 1 bite of lunch. I'm hoping we miss the pestilence but knowing our luck we'll get it at 3am tonight.  All the while today we've had a power washer thrumming the sides of our house. Here's to a new color for a new decade! Pale green and berry berry..

We have plans to hit Monster University tomorrow, P's girl scout troop is using their cookie money to have a bit of fun. O and I will travel along too, will post how it was. Let's hope we make it!
